What is a Registeraccountant?
Registeraccountant, usually shortened to RA, is a protected Dutch professional title for a chartered accountant. It means the accountant is entered in the professional register of the NBA, the Dutch accountancy body.
Registered accountants must follow professional rules on competence, care, integrity and confidentiality. In practical terms, you are working with a qualified financial professional who is accountable to those standards.
About the Dutch accountant qualification
My education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Master’s degree in Accounting
- Post-Master qualification in Accounting
- Registeraccountant (RA)
I have more than six years of professional accountancy and audit experience, primarily with larger organisations. That work involved analysing financial information, understanding business processes and identifying financial risks.
I bring that same care to a small business: accurate administration, clear explanations and practical help with planning.
Everything is remote
You send your administration digitally. We speak by email, WhatsApp or video call. I handle the work myself, wherever you are based in the Netherlands.
There is no office to visit and no team to pass you between.
A small, focused practice
I concentrate on bookkeeping, tax administration and business financial guidance. With no office, employees or unnecessary overhead, I can keep the basic service affordable.
If you want more support, we can add regular financial discussions and planning to your bookkeeping.
Why OSO? Björn means “bear” in Scandinavian languages. In Spanish, it’s “oso”. That is where the name comes from.
