Who is responsible?

What data we use and why

When you contact us or request a quote, we may process your name, email address, telephone number, business details and the contents of your message. We use this information to respond, prepare for or perform an agreement, and manage our business relationship.

If you become a client, we process the personal data necessary to provide bookkeeping, tax-administration and financial-advice services, meet legal obligations and maintain our administration. Please do not send a BSN or other highly sensitive information through the website contact form.

Legal bases

We process data where necessary to take steps at your request before an agreement or to perform an agreement; to comply with legal obligations; or for our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries, protecting our services and maintaining professional records.

Recipients and international transfers

We share data only where necessary with carefully selected service providers, such as website hosting, email, bookkeeping software and the contact-form provider. These providers process data under appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal data. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we use the safeguards required by applicable law.

Retention

Enquiries that do not lead to a client relationship are normally deleted within 12 months. Client and financial-administration records are retained for as long as necessary for the service and, where required by Dutch tax law, generally seven years. We may retain information longer when required for a legal claim or obligation.

Cookies and website use

This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers or visitor profiling. Essential technical processing by hosting providers may occur to deliver and secure the website.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or data portability where applicable. You can also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Email info@osofinance.nl; we may need to verify your identity. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
